 How to deactivate Facebook account On Mobile:

  1. Open the Facebook App:

  2. Navigate to Settings:
    • Tap the three horizontal lines (menu icon) in the top-right corner.
    • Select Settings & Privacy” > “Settings”
    • Select “Account Center.”
  3. Deactivate Your Account:
    • Tap “Personal Details.”
    • Tap “Account ownership and control.”
    • Select “Deactivation and Deletion.”
    • Choose “Deactivate Account.”
    • Follow the prompts to confirm your decision.
  4. Reason for Deactivation:

  5. Confirm Deactivation:
    • Enter your password to confirm the deactivation.
    • Your account will be temporarily deactivated. You can reactivate it anytime by logging back in.

    • During this period, your profile won’t be visible to others, and you won’t receive notifications.

Remember that deactivating your account is reversible. If you decide to return to Facebook, simply log in, and your account will be reactivated.
